  • 33rd SETAC in Dublin 2023

SETAC 2023 has come to an end. With all scientific talks, poster presentations, Science has been buzzing all around. What a great opportunity to share and discuss our contributions and solutions to environmental problems. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and the poster.

  • Interlaboratory trial for in vitro bioassays for the determination of hormonal activity

Our partner QuoData organizes the interlaboratory trial “Hormonal Effects” for users of effect-based in vitro bioassays for the determination of hormonal activity (estrogenicity, androgenicity, progestagenicity) in water and food samples.

The interlaboratory trial will take place in autumn this year. Please find more information here.

  • We proudly present...

    ... the new A-YBSlumi!

More information about the new and fast assay that determines the cumulative effect of bisphenols you can find here.

  • Launching new A-YBS

In the near future, we will present the further developed even more powerful A-YBS. By integrating the luciferase reporter gene, we have succeeded in developing a rapid (4.5 h), sustainable and sensitive assay that determines the cumulative effect of bisphenols based on the yeast Arxula adeninivorans. The A-YBSlumi is the first representative of a new yeast biosensor product line of new_diagnostics for effect-based analysis of hormonal effects.

    The A-YES for extracts

We are in progress to adopt the ISO standardized test A-YES for the handling of low sample volumes. In particular, extracts have limited volumes and require an assay that allows the use of small sample volumes. Therefore, we are testing different well shapes in the 96 well format for the yeast cell cultivation by using the 3D print prototyping to maintain the performance of the original A-YES. The new test version for 96 well plates should replace our µA-YES in future.
