In November 5-8, 2024, we attended at the 11th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis (RAFA) in Prague together with our colleagues from QuoData. We presented a poster of one of our latest effect-based assays intended for the determination of thyroid β mediated activity which may also have a relevance for applications in food science.
Our novel Arxula adeninivorans test battery for the detection and quantification of estrogenicity, androgenicity, progestagenicity utilizes an optimized red fluorescence reporter which allows an improved handling and enables the analysis of extracts vom various sample origins. The test battery undergoes currently the validation procedure and it is subsequent ready for market launch.
We have visited the 57th Congress of the European Toxicologists and European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX) which took place from 10 to 13 September 2023 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. During the congress we presented our poster for a novel test battery for the fast and sensitive detection of hormonal effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals based on the Arxula adeninivorans biosensor system with bioluminescence detection.
In our SETAC poster, we outlined the information for a sophisticated approach how to combine results from an Interlab trial for in vitro assays for effect-based analysis of estrogenicity. The interlab was organized and conducted by our parent company QuoData.
